Students Succeeding in Global Business Simulation

Students in Business 311: Global Business Strategy have been among the top competitors in a semester-long business simulation used by students in 1,215 undergraduate classes in 12 countries around the world.

Miller Library Awards Thornton Research Prize to Three Seniors

Two environmental science students and one from the Department of Education received the 2022 Ralph Thornton ’40 Research Prize from the Friends of the Miller Library and the library itself on April 13. The awards honor the best completed student research from 2022 in three categories: best project, best proposal, and best overall.

When the honor society for sociology majors inducts its newest members this month, it won’t just be an event for students. Alpha Kappa Delta is using the event to bring a speaker to ½ñÍíÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û’s campus with a message for anyone interested in a more diverse and inclusive society, whether they are students, faculty, staff or community members.

2023 Members Inducted into Phi Beta Kappa

The ½ñÍíÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa inducted its newest class this month, providing 29 students membership in what is widely considered to be the most highly regarded mark of academic distinction for undergraduate students in liberal studies.

½ñÍíÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û Trap and Skeet Team Wins Event Gold

The ½ñÍíÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û Trap and Skeet Team (WCTS) brought home two gold medals and a bronze from the 2023 ACUI-SCTP Collegiate Clay Target National Championships, turning in its highest overall finish in the program’s history. The gold medals are the first national championship results at ½ñÍíÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û since 1998.  Â
